Here Is Where We Meet is an extensive creative research project transforming the St. Clair–Superior neighbourhood into a living composition of civic voice and social action. Led by UK artist Naomi Lord with Ingenuity Cleveland, it reimagines placemaking as an act of artistic inquiry, where residents, artists and institutions co-author visual, sonic and textual works that reflect collective memory and belonging and engage cultural development forums.

Across a series of months, walking-based mapping, story-circles and visual co-design unfold into constellations of street essays and project workshops.

The project’s culmination at IngenuityFest 2026 transforms these stories into an immersive installation: projection, soundscape and sculpture playing the neighbourhood back to itself. Within this setting, community theatre and meeting for civic action will emerge.

Here Is Where We Meet treats artistic production as civic research and the act of sharing as art itself: slow, reflective and deeply human. More info soon.
